Whilst holding the code change cam at the 12o’clock position (as per fig.3) turn the handle
on the keypad side one full rotation (as per fig.4). When turning the handle a distinctive
click will be herd, this denotes that the keypad has been cleared of any set code.
To ensure all the set codes have been cleared from the unit rotate the handle 3-4 times,
each time the handle is rotated it should withdraw the latch bolt on the locking device.
With the handle at the horizontal position (as per fig.5) and the code change cam at
12o’clock (as per fig.3) a new code can be set to the keypad. Once you have decided what
you would like the unit coded to press the buttons that will be in the new code
Please note if you make a mistake when setting the new code turn the handle one full
rotation and this will clear any digits that has been set.
Now that all the digits in the code have been set into the keypad, the code change cam can
now be rotated back to the 9o’clock position (as per fig.2).
With the code change cam rotated back to the 9o’clock position (as per fig.2) the new code
can now be tested. Input the new code into the keypad and rotate the handle, if setting the
new code has been successful the latch bolt of the BL7000 will withdraw.
Ensure the keypad accepts the new code 3-4 times before closing the door and remember
to make a note of the new code.
